One Pot Tex-Mex Turkey Chili Recipe – Healthy, Flavorful, and Easy to Make

                      Ingredients
- 
1 medium red onion, diced 
- 
¼ yellow bell pepper, diced 
- 
¼ red bell pepper, diced 
- 
½ jalapeño- seeds removed & diced (optional) 
- 
2 Tbsp minced garlic 
- 
2 pounds ground turkey 
- 
1 cup dark beer (optional) or chicken broth 
- 
            
2 Tbsp Big L’s Blends Adobo 
- 
            
1 Tbsp Big L’s Blends Al Pastor 
- 
            
2 Tbsp Big L’s Blends Taco Everyday 
- 
2 Tbsp tomato paste 
- 
2 (15 oz) Cans Red Kidney Beans, drained 
- 
2 (15 oz) Cans Chili Beans in chili sauce 
- 
1 (15 oz) Can Black Beans, drained 
- 
2 (32 oz) cartons of chicken broth or stock 
- 
            
2 Tbsp Salsa Picanté Hot Sauce 
- 
Sour Cream 
- 
Cheddar Cheese 
- 
Green Onions, chopped 
Directions
- Add 2 Tbsp oil to large dutch oven or large pot over medium heat 
- Add onions, bell pepper & jalapeño. Cook until onions become translucent (about 8 minutes) 
- Add garlic & cook for 3-5 minutes. 
- Add ground turkey and cook until browned (8-10 minutes) 
- Add Big L’s Blends Adobo, Taco Everyday, & Al Pastor Seasonings. Mix well to combine. 
- Add tomato paste. Mix well to combine. 
- Add kidney, chili & black beans. Stir well to combine. 
- Add both cartons of chicken stock 
- Add beer (optional) 
- Stir in Big L’s Blends Salsa Picanté sauce 
- Add salt to taste 
- Put the top on your pot and allow the chili to simmer for 60-90 minutes over medium heat. 
- Remove the top for the last 30 minutes to allow the chili to thicken 
- Garnish with chili + lime crema (recipe below), cheddar cheese & green onions. 
Recipe Note
